After his graduation, he took a three-month course in journalism. He then become involved in Centre-Left Politics. In 1967, he got admitted to University College, London, where he studied philosophy. His own family moved to London when he turned ten years, and he began applying himself to his studies at Harrow Weald Grammar faculty and Poole Technical university. Ken was restricted from watching movies and cartoons on Television by his parents with which he developed the habit of reading right from his childhood. His Father Martin Follett was a Tax inspector. Ken Follett was born on 5 June 1949 in Cardiff, Wales.
